At Race Leys we strive to ensure that all children are physically confident and are inspired to continue with sporting activities as they get older, developing  healthy lifestyle choices. We understand that a child needs to be taught balance, coordination, core movements and agility in order to achieve and succeed in sport. We ensure that all children are learning these key skills throughout their time at Race Leys. In the Foundation Stage (YR) the children learn core skills and how to work as a team. As they progress through the school into KS1 they learn how to master these skills within a number of different sports and activities.

At Race Leys, we are pleased to be able to offer a wide variety of clubs throughout the year.  While some clubs may run continuously other clubs are made available for part of the year.

If you are going to be good at anything, it takes a lot of practice and you have to keep trying even when you just feel like giving up!
